Apple picking
There is nothing like taking the family out on a cool crisp fall day to the apple orchards. There are many things to do. Picking apples of course, Macintosh are favorite. Cortland great for baking, then red delicious describes itself.
We walk in to the orchard grab a bag called a bushel can range up to $ 24.00. 20lbs of apples. After walking around for a while and filling our bag and eating some to to our belly aches we grab a hay ride out of the orchard back to the main store were they have a petting zoo.
Next we put the apples in to the car and head over to the pumpkin patch were we pick our own pumpkins.
Then its time for some roasted corn, cup of chowder then some yummy cider doughnuts, candy apples pressed cider, pie, and all kinds of treats.
After everyone is full the kids can join races ,face painting and stuff there own scarecrow. It is a fun time for all young and old. Go early make a day out of it enjoy.
